Here it is, I thought I'd sneak some pics after facing a delay on the completion...I have been through three bridges, bridge #1 cracked, #2 was routed out wrong and #3 also cracked ...

.....so it looks like an order for yet another bridge unless anyone on here who lives in the UK could sell me a left handed belly bridge...

Sound clips will be recorded and submitted after the well-deserved week's holiday on the North Welsh coast ( in 8 days time and COUNTING!!), so here are some pics in the meatime...

Gotoh tuners aren't in their final resting place yet...

A bit of abalone bling on the fretboard dots...

...the kids had fun with the sand pit...'scuse the mess

Great Look'in guitar there Sam, I really like the way the top of the headstock repeats the tips of the Celtic knot....classicly Britain in style.

Cheers

Way to go Sam! I too like the headstock and rosette design.

Russel is a southpaw, so I bet he could help you out with your bridge issues.

Sam, that is a beautiful guitar! You should see my numero uno. I keep it in the garage between a couple of rows of boxes so noone accidentally sees it.

Hi Sam!

Simply beautiful!

You are an inspiration to me! Thanks

Your inlay is quite unique, and I have to ask, does it have a meaning

Sam,

Very nice! Looks like it will have been worth all that frustration!

That does NOT look like a 1st guitar . I have a first guitar and it looks nothing like that. I took my 1st guitar to our Arkansas get together just to show everyone what a 1st guitar should look like.

Looks great Sam. Let's see some pictures of the back.

Very enterprising for a first effort, Sam!
That guitar is full of dreaded knots.
I'm having to do a Trinity knot now on a guitar's fretboard, and if I flub it up, I'll get you to do a better one for me.

Looking good Sam. Your perseverance is paying off. I can’t wait to see it finished. More pictures please. Close ups of your rosette would be nice in the mean time.

I have always liked the Triquetra as well. It is part of my device in the SCA. Thought about using it on my headstocks, but thought people would associate it with the TV series Charmed.Aoibeann38954.0068518519

What woods are those Sam? Nice looking box.

I'm guessing Cocobolo?

Okay I gotta ask for a back pic.

Now you are ready for the next half of the guitar build, finishing.....
